Updates to our camera solution
We continue to receive valuable feedback from customers on our camera solution. As a result, we're refining this part of our product, and our solution continues to develop at pace. There are some new additions this month, with the key ones listed below.
Channel names and locations now visible
Users are now able to see channel names and locations when viewing videos. This provides a richer context for the viewer when looking at footage. When requesting a video in the normal way, users can now select the channels that they want to access.
Users also now have greater control over how channels are designated inside the platform. To configure how channels display footage, users can navigate to admin > cameras and select a vehicle. See below for an example.
Daily driver fatigue reporting available
Users can now extract a daily report on driver fatigue events, enabling transport managers to quickly and easily identify problems and enable support and remedial intervention as quickly as possible. This 'driver fatigue' report can be accessed inside the normal reports section.
Updates to e-mail branding consistency
We have updated branding across our range of email alerts and notifications, to ensure consistent branding across the suite of emails that we send out, and with the brand more generally.
New customer feedback page
Users can now provide feedback directly from within the application via the "Rate your experience" option at the bottom of the navigation bar. This will appear every 2 weeks after completion and will enable users to send feedback and opinions in a simple and affective format.
Added ability to set video data retention time
We've introduced a new feature that empowers users to set a time limit for the storage duration of video data files. This time limit can be configured for up to 365 days and once the specified duration elapses, the files will be automatically removed from data storage. However, users can still conveniently request and re-download these files directly from the device if required.
Additional enhancements and bug fixes
There have been a host of other changes made too this month, including over 50 unique bug fixes to the platform, helping to maintain stability and performance for all of our users. These include, but are not limited to, the following:
Date stamp delays in alerts are no longer present.
Video downloads now show all feeds, not just one.
Tacho now displays all timings.
Fixed an exception that was occurring when creating a new user.
Users are able to search for a vehicle by registration in admin area.
Various translations are now fixed and correct, supporting an improved experience for international customers.
