Febuary: Platform Stability
The AddSecure UK development team publish feature updates and bug fixes on a monthly basis. Our February release is focused on addressing bugs and improving the customer experience.
Bugs
This release contains fixes for around 20 customer reported bugs including fixes to Admin, Vehicle Off Road (VOR), Alerts, Cameras and Reporting. Our customer support team will be reaching out to individual customers who have reported these issues, to let them know the issues are resolved.
Contextual Speeding
Our contextual speeding requires an accurate set of data on in-country speed limits. We've been evaluating new partners, and this month, will be introducing a new speed-limit data-feed that further improves the accuracy of our solution in EU countries.
Restricted Geofence Solution
In January, we released a pilot our camera restricted geofence solution. It allows a geofence to be marked as 'restricted' to prevent users being able to request video footage from when the vehicle is in the geofence. Examples of restricted geofences might include military sites, where camera footage is not allowed. Following a successful pilot of our new Restricted Geofence solution, we've now extended the functionality, and the feature is now available to all customers.
Admin users, can now mark a Geofence as restricted. If a geofence is restricted, users are prevented from requesting video footage that is within the boundary of that geofence.
Note: We this currently does not affect 'live feeds' within restricted geofences. We will be looking at adding this in an upcoming release.
