January - Reports Updates
The AddSecure UK development team publish feature updates and bug fixes on a regular basis. In January, we will be launching improvements to our reporting solution and commissioning tool.
Reports Updates
January sees the culmination of months of background work on the report suite, bringing it up to date with the rest of the product in terms of performance, user experience and flexibility with future development.
Improved navigation panel to make accessing report areas easier
We have moved the navigation options to the left hand side navigation bar so users can get to where they want to go easier and quicker.

Simplified and updated scheduled reports creator
The Schedule Report window has been redesigned and moved to the right hand side as a popup, making it more simple and easier to use. Users also now have more flexibility in choosing what periods reports are run for.

Commissioning Tool Improvements
As we move closer to enabling engineer contractors and customers to install and commission devices without the need of support assistance, in this release we have added and enhanced the following areas.
Engineers can now be added to a parent company
Engineer companies can now be created and have jobs assigned to them. This will ensure any engineers under the parent company have access to those jobs.
Added ability to mark hardware as left on site
If an engineer has an issue, or is required to leave any devices at a customer site, they now have the option of highlighting this during the commissioning process.

Engineers can now manually adjust odometer values during commission
For devices that don't connect to the CANBus, engineers can now manually set the correct odometer value while commissioning a device. This ensures there is less chance of incorrect odometer values for vehicles as there is no longer a requirement for a user to go in to the vehicle at a later date and set the odometer value.

Peripheral devices can now be bulk imported
Peripheral devices (cameras, probes etc.) can now be bulk imported using a .csv file. This will make ensuring new devices are added to the system quickly and easily.
Additional enhancements and bug fixes
The team has spent a significant amount of time fixing over 80 bugs and individual feature enhancements, some notable of which are listed below:
Battery level indicators no longer require a manual refresh to see updated value
Alert statuses should correctly display as "Closed" now after completing
Various reports that returned blank data should now populate correctly
Video download bar will now reflect the status more accurately
Fuel levels now correctly show as Gallons (US) for customers that select US internationalisation
Video processing has been moved to a more efficient service
Erroneous GPS plots are now handled better and display less as straight line plots
