August Feature Release

We've been dedicated to enhancing our video preview functionality and adding long-awaited compliance features. These updates improve user experience and ensure our platform meets regulatory standards.

Video Preview Enhancements

To help users easily find the footage they need, we've updated the video preview page with new features, improved stability, and a more user-friendly design. A clickable timeline has been added, allowing users to quickly navigate and preview based on camera footage availability. Additionally, users can now skip forward or backward by 60-second intervals, making it easier to pinpoint the exact time period required. We've also applied various performance improvements to ensure the preview is reliable and robust.

New Toggle Controls for Live Streaming and Non-Event Footage

We have introduced two new fleet-wide toggles in the admin settings. The first allows you to enable or disable live streaming from camera devices across the whole fleet. The second controls the downloading of non-event footage, such as manual download requests not directly linked to a vehicle event. These features help ensure compliance with GDPR laws and protect the privacy of both the public and drivers where required.

Bug Fixes

• Scheduled Report vs Manual KM Report discrepancy:

  • Corrected the discrepancy in mileage totals between Scheduled and Manual KM Reports by fixing the KM Journey Start/End dates, ensuring accurate reporting.

• Range Start & End Time issue:

  • Adjusted the Range Start & End Time settings to display correctly and not run an hour behind, ensuring time accuracy in reports.

• Idle events date error:

  • Fixed an issue where idle events were showing 'Invalid Date', ensuring accurate event logging and reporting.

• Re-request completed event uploads:

  • Users can no longer re-request completed event uploads, preventing system fails and errors due to duplicate requests.

• Downloaded video audio issue:

  • Resolved an issue where downloaded video audio was being heard directly from the UI, ensuring proper audio handling.

• Events page update issue:

  • Fixed the Events page so that the downloaded section updates correctly to show requested events, improving user experience.

• Sub tabs data display issue:

  • Ensured that sub tabs under Cameras display data correctly, providing consistent and reliable information.

• User Tab Phone Number field alignment:

  • Corrected the alignment of the Phone Number field in the User Tab, enhancing the visual consistency of the admin interface.
