To add to the Driver Scoring solution implemented in June, we've been working on customisable device profiles that allow precise configuration of Green Band, Sweet Spot, Cruise Duration and Over Rev parameters. This allows users to create targets for drivers to work to, to ensure they are driving in the most efficient way possible, by maintaining optimal (Sweet Spot) RPM's, which lower fuel consumption and emissions. We are working hard to provide the tools for customers to manage the efficiency and cost of their entire fleet effortlessly.
As mentioned above, in response to the valuable feedback that we continue to receive from our users, we have added a feature called Device Profiles. The principal aim is to encourage drivers to drive as efficiently as they can to reduce costs and emissions.
A Device Profile page is now available, which allows users to create profiles and assign to selected vehicles. Each profile allows users to specify an Over Rev limit, Green Band upper and lower boundaries, and Sweet Spot upper and lower boundaries. This enables users to report on how much time drivers are spending in each area and praise/coach drivers to ensure they are driving as efficiently as possible. Note that this feature is only available for compatible devices.
The Vehicles tab within Device Profiles shows users the current status of each vehicle with relation to profile state. Profiles are synced to devices every hour and users are able to see which vehicles have successfully been synced and which are still waiting.
The Green Band and and Sweet Spot metrics are now available as a score within the Driving Behaviour module. Once configured these metrics will automatically appear in the League table and Driver behaviour reports.
In addition to the continued work on our Driver Behaviour features listed above, the July release sees a large number of smaller bug fixes and improvements being put into production on various parts of the Verilocation application.
Overall, this work supports improved quality and stability across the platform, and an improved user experience.
Updates and fixes include:
Enhancements to the UI inside the temperature feature set, including fixes to the the date picker, and improved data exporting capabilities for users.
Enhanced localisation of the fleet 'explore' UI, to better support our international customers.
Updates to various aspects of the reporting suite, including performance improvements.
Vehicle commissioning efficiency enhancements (affecting AddSecure internal systems only) to support faster hardware (in particular Transcan) installations across customer fleets.
As always, our support teams will be in touch with customers to notify them of relevant fixes and improvements.
