February 19th - SD/HD Storage Split & Remote Wakeup
This update delivers the SD/HD split configuration and introduces remote wake‑up configuration support to enable fleet wide configurations.
This release focuses on making it easier to configure recent enhancements across your entire fleet, rather than managing settings on a device‑by‑device basis. By simplifying configuration, the new SD/HD split and Remote Wake‑up features can be applied consistently and work seamlessly across all vehicles.
Remote Wakeup
To make accessing devices and requesting video footage easier, we’ve introduced Remote Wakeup. This feature allows a device to be remotely woken even when the vehicle ignition is switched off, enabling users to request footage and apply updates without needing physical access to the vehicle.
By supporting remote activation, Remote Wakeup reduces delays when footage is required and removes the dependency on vehicle usage or manual intervention. The configuration can be applied consistently across an entire fleet, eliminating the need to set up each device individually and ensuring a smoother, more reliable experience at scale.
If you’re interested in enabling Remote Wakeup for your fleet, please speak to your account manager or contact our support team for more information.

Standard Definition/High Definition Split
We’ve introduced support for SD and HD video quality selection on devices using SD cards, giving you greater flexibility when requesting footage. Previously available only on cameras with hard disk drives, this capability has now been extended to SD‑card‑based devices.
With SD/HD split enabled, devices record footage in both high and standard definition (quality varies by device type), allowing users to choose the most appropriate format when downloading video. This helps keep data usage to a minimum and improves download speeds, while still ensuring high‑quality footage is available whenever it’s needed.
The configuration can now be applied consistently across your entire fleet, removing the need for individual device setup and making video management simpler and more efficient.
If you’re interested in enabling SD/HD split configuration for your fleet, please speak to your account manager or contact our support team, who will be happy to walk you through the options.

Bug Fixes
Cameras: Camera footage not downloading, throwing an error Resolved a download failure that caused errors when retrieving camera footage. Footage can now be downloaded successfully.
